After breakfast at the hotel, After the short photo break, the bus will continue towards Derinkuyu as your next stop is scheduled to be made at the famous underground city. In general, there are 36 underground cities in the region of Cappadocia as Christians were building them in an effort to escape from prosecutions. This particular underground city is the largest and most famous as thousands of people are visiting the sight every year. It has a total of 8 floors however, only four of them are accessible to public. During your time there you will get the chance to observe the city’s winery, kitchens and other rooms that are carved into the ground. The guide will provide detailed and interesting information about the city’s history and design. For those who claim to be nature lovers or those who enjoy an active lifestyle, the nest stop is the ideal one. Ihlara Valley is a green river canyon that has a total length of 14Km. The bus will drop you at a certain point where you will enjoy a walking session along the river. Accompanied by you guide you will see some interesting attractions such as the Ağaçaltı cave church that dates back in the 4th century. The church’s interior is also interesting as it hosting some paintings from the 10th century. Your quiet and relaxing walking session will stop once you reach a local river-side restaurant. A lunch break will take place there and you will have the chance to recharge your batteries with energy to continue your excursion. The lunch includes soup, salad, and a choice between, trout, chicken, vegetarian meal, or meatballs. Relaxed and refreshed you will then head back to the bus and continue your tour at the Selime Cave Monastery. The area has a cliff where characteristic rock formations exist. At the lower section of the cliff, you will get the chance to visit few fairy chimneys before going to the monastery. The tour guide will provide some interesting information about the place. It is estimated that the monastery was constructed between the 8th and 10th century and the halls included a missionary school, a church and a living area. Exactly opposite, on a cliff, there is another female monastery. The monastery is a great example of architectural design that is carved into rocks. High ceilings, balconies and large rooms will surely impress you.
What follows is a short break at the Pigeon Valley. It is located at the skirts of Göreme city and forms an amazing photo point. The valley took its name from the ancient pigeon houses that were carved into the cliff throughout the centuries. From there, you can enjoy panoramic views and admire the surroundings.

After breakfast at the hotel, Cappadocia Red Tour will start with a visit at the Pasabagi Valley. The valley is the ideal place to observe and admire fairy chimneys and snap some pretty nice photos. It is also known as Monks Valley due to a small church that is dedicated to Saint Simeon and is situated in one of the three chimneys. The hermits that used to live there were inspired by his life and created isolation rooms inside the fairy chimneys. The Valley creates one-of-a-kind imposing scenery as you can understand Cappadocia’s formation. What follows is a lunch break at a traditional Turkish restaurant. You will have the chance to enjoy a buffet lunch that includes a variety of tasty and freshly made options. Energized and relaxed, you will then return to the bus as your tour continues towards Avanos. The area was forming the main point of terracotta arts since 2000 B.C in Hittite times. This small city was constructed right next to Turkey’s longest river, namely the Red River. People of Avanos took advantage of the area’s resources and became magnificent potters with unique creative skills. This tradition and art is still alive there and during your excursion you will visit a traditional workshop. The potter will demonstrate in a step by step procedure how to produce terracotta pottery. At the workshop you can also preview the amazing collections of products and you can purchase some great souvenirs. The bus will then continue towards Devrent or Imagine Valley. This particular area is known for the rocks that are having an unusual formation. More precisely, the rocks that can be found in Devrent Valley often resemble the shapes of animals such as dolphins, snakes and seals. The most outstanding and famous rock is the one that resembles a camel. During your time in the valley you will surely have to put your imagination into work. Cappadocia Red Tour continues with a last stop in Urgup. There you can observe a unique rock formation that is the symbol of Cappadocia. The excursion ends by the time you reach your hotel. The spectacular surrealistic landscapes combined with excellent flying conditions allow the balloons to gently drift over and between fairy chimneys, pigeon houses hewn into the unique rock formations, orchards and vineyards – through impressive valleys, each with distinctive rock formations, colors and features – and then float up over rippled ravines for breathtaking views over the region.
The Standard Balloon Tour tour is approximately 45 min to 1 hour. You will be collected from your hotel early in the morning, usually before sunrise and driven to the take-off site.While you are having a light breakfast, you will watch the inflation of the balloon then get a passenger briefing which explains basic rules & safety measures for the balloon flight. Then it’s time to climb into the basket and highlight of your Turkey trip begins! The take off is gentle – soon you’ll be taking hundreds of pictures over the valleys of Cappadocia. After the flight lands, there is a small celebration with champagne and you will receive your flight certificate.

What should I wear : You should wear long trousers and tops with long sleeves, preferably made from natural fibres and suitable footwear for an outdoor oursuit. Having layers is a good idea as it is cold at the beginning and warmer later.
How high up do we go : Even though we will be flying very low for a while and pick fruits from the trees sometimes, we always go up-to 500 meters from the ground. When the wind is calm, we go higher than 1.000 meters.
Can children fly : Children not younger than 7 years old can fly with a responsible adult. They will have 50% discount up-to 12 years old. However, we are unable to fly children under 7 years.
Can I fly any time of the year : Yes, we fly 12 months. However, from October to March, there will be more cancelations due to weather conditions.
When do you cancel the flight: When the ground wind is faster than 10 knots, during heavy rain or fog, the flight will be canceled. You will receive a full refund if we have to cancel your flight.
How far do we travel: It can be between 4 to 20 km depending on the speed of the wind on the flight day.
Can pregnant women fly : No. If you are pregnant or think that you might be pregnant, you should not fly with ballons due to possible bumpy landings.
Is the landing bumpy : Occassionally. We usually land very calmly but if the wind increases on landing there will be a bump and the basket will drag on the landing field until it comes to a halt.
When do we meet for the flight : We will pick you up from your hotel about 45 minutes before sunrise and drive to our office for check-in and breakfast.
Do we see sunrise from the balloon : We usually take-off with the sunrise and fly during the Golden Hour for photography. Sometimes, we might have to take-off later due to weather conditions.
Why do you fly so early in the morning : The wind is not very fast, there are no thermals yet and it is not too hot.
How do I go back to my hotel : Our minibuses will be following the balloon during the flight and will drive you back to your hotels after the landing party.

Cappadocia Camel Ride
The animals are trained to follow the particular paths and they are extremely friendly and safe for an activity like this. The instructors will also let you know how to approach the camel. Usually, it is suggested that you treat the camel as your pet and that you show some affection towards the animal. By doing this, the camel creates a bond with you before the ride and becomes friendly and easy to ride.
